6Humanos is a community of Rocket League pick-up games (PUGs). This policy explains what data about you we keep when you use the site, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can ask to see, correct or delete it.
What data we collect
We only keep what the platform needs to work:
- Your Discord account: you sign in with Discord and we receive your ID, username, display name and avatar, plus whether you are a member of the 6Humanos server and your roles there. We never receive your password.
- Your linked game accounts: if you link Steam or Epic Games (including by signing in with your Epic Games account), we keep that account's ID and public name to associate it with your profile.
- Rank verification: to place you in the right tier we look up the public stats of your linked game account (ranks and matches played) and keep the result, together with whatever you send us when requesting a verification.
- Your activity on 6Humanos: queues, matches, results, MMR, tier, reports, staff calls and sanctions.
- Technical and security data: the IP address and the device and browser data you connect with.
- VIP payments: if you subscribe to or gift VIP, the payment happens on Mercado Pago or Whop. We receive the subscription status and an ID for the transaction; we do not store card data or the email you use at checkout.
- What you upload as VIP: backgrounds, banner, links to clips or your stream and your profile's custom URL.
What we use it for
- Giving you access to your account and showing your profile, your history and the leaderboard.
- Building balanced matches, calculating MMR and assigning tiers.
- Protecting the community: preventing alt accounts, abuse, fraud and sanction evasion.
- Activating and managing the VIP benefits you paid for or were gifted.
- Answering your questions and notifying you about matches on Discord.
What is public
Your display name, avatar, tier, MMR, stats and match history show on your profile, on the leaderboard and on each match page, also to people who are not signed in. Your linked accounts, your IP and your payments are never public.
Who we share it with
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Providers that help us run the site (hosting, and Discord for sign-in and notifications), only with what each service needs.
- Mercado Pago or Whop, when you pay for VIP: they process the payment under their own policies.
- Authorities, when a law or a valid order requires it.
How long we keep it
- Your account and activity data, for as long as you have a 6Humanos account.
- IP addresses and device data, 180 days; then they are deleted.
- Payment records, for as long as the law requires.
Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. Only staff who need it can see private data, and every access to it is logged.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what data about you we keep.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and your data, except what the law requires us to keep.
If you believe we did not respect your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change something important, we will announce it on the site or on the Discord server before it takes effect.
